Screenwriter

oneiric |ə(ʊ)ˈnʌɪrɪk| , relating to dreams or dreaming.

I am currently working on my first novel, Oneirika, based on my homonymous sci-fi TV pilot.

Oneirika has won an Honourable Mention (TOP 5%) at the 2017 Launch Pad Manuscript Competition.

Set in Neo Tokyo and Antarctica in 2191, it explores the themes of belonging, the relationship between adults and children and the world of gaming.

Oneirika tells the story of a father forced to compete in a virtual reality game that takes place in the world of dreams after his children are kidnapped by the game’s creator, who is convinced that this man is the key to waking her granddaughter up from her game-induced coma.

It may appeal to readers who enjoyed reading Ender’s Game or 19Q4 or watching Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell (the anime) and Tron. It is ~110,000 words long.
